Frog (2010)
"Compelling." - Craig Takeuchi, THE GEORGIA STRAIGHT
Riding alone in the back row, he's another blank face on a city bus. Three blocks away, then two, then one, she waits for him at the agreed-upon bus stop. They were once best friends, or perhaps lovers, and this will be the first time they’ve met since setting out on separate lives in different cities.
Unfolding over fifteen minutes in a single shot as the two walk back to the house they once shared, Frog looks at the sharp turns our lives take in their youth, the fragile nature of human dependence and the difficulty in saying goodbye to a person we still have so much of ourselves stored inside. Starring Allison Mack (Smallville), Chad Krowchuk (RV, Mentors) and Tom Braidwood (The X-Files), Frog premiered at the 29th Vancouver Film International Film Festival in October 2010.
